Rafal’s work activities include: physiotherapy for sports clubs players, teaching corrective exercises to children in nurseries and schools, leading therapy sessions for disabled adults and children and treating a variety of private patients.

As a sports therapist my primary passion is around sporting injuries and the strength, fitness, wellbeing and resilience of each individual in their entirety.
I have recently had experience of working within a professional football team at a premier league, working with the first team and youth teams down to under 9’s. During this I gained experience and an interest in acute injury management, from soft tissue and massage intervention right through to personal training and strength and conditioning techniques to prevent re-injury.
I use a multitude of treatment techniques from Acupuncture to manual therapy, massage, strength and conditioning and functional rehabilitation.
I also use massage and personal training techniques alongside my other treatment techniques to ensure the highest level of customer care and service is undertaken.
My personal interest sits within the lower limb and considering all injuries from sporting to occupational injuries.
I have recently also expanded my skill mix to further include wellness and coaching techniques to improve employees engagement, with ergonomics intervention and wellness behaviour within our clinic in the foreign office Westminster. This allows me to see how patients and staff are interacting with their work environment and how the equipment we use and the postures we adopt, influence our ability to function pain free.
This is a very exciting and new element to my practice.
Born and raised in Guernsey, I love the outdoor life style come rain or shine, with an interest in sailing, water skiing and beach bbq’s!!
With a passion for sports, exercise and well being, as well as having been ladies captain of the rowing team during my first degree, I decided to requalify from The University of Hertfordshire with a keen and vested interest for musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Since qualifying I have worked in both the public and private sector. I enjoy solving problems, and therefore, use a variety of different modalities in my treatment and management plans with patients including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, massage and taping.
